Breakfast Roundtable: Obesity and Eating Disorders Special Interest Group Breakfast Roundtable
The OED SIG invites you to attend a breakfast roundtable that features a panel discussion on “Getting what you want: Making your job in behavioral medicine work for you.” We will also highlight our SIG accomplishments this year and some of the most exciting obesity and eating disorder research at SBM. Finally, we will present awards to our SIG’s trainee awardees. Our panel will feature Drs. Kelseanna Hollis-Hansen (Assistant Professor, University of Texas Southwestern), Daphne Hernandez (Research Associate Professor, University of Houston), and Michelle Cardel (Senior Director, Global Clinical Research & Nutrition WW International, Inc; Adjunct Professor, Department Of Health Outcomes & Biomedical Informatics; Associate Director, Center For Integrative Cardiovascular And Metabolic Disease). These colleagues come from a variety of different disciplines, including academia, government, and industry, and will share their approach to negotiating roles, responsibilities and commitments, job offers, and more.
