(Sponsored by Moffitt Cancer Center) Networking Session 7: Not to be Missed - Cancer SIG Networking Social
Scientific meetings are an outstanding opportunity to network with colleagues, meet new potential collaborators, mentors or mentees, and connect with friends. While networking can happen in various forms (e.g., grabbing a shared meal, connecting as you walk to the next session), a dedicated networking session of a SIG is an opportunity to build community, elevate the energy and excitement about the work we do, and benefit from serendipities that happen in unstructured gatherings. This networking session may also help members feel more connected to the SIG and increase their engagement with SBM and the SIG in the coming year. During this networking session, the Cancer SIG leaders will actively seek to welcome new members, make connections among attendees, promote the activities of the SIG, and continue to learn what would bring value to its members. We will also highlight ways in which members can increase their engagement.
